Masters Students Defend their Theses at Viva Voce Examinations

UTAMU masters students in the School of Business and Management (SBM) defended their proposals at the Viva Voce Examinations before a panel of examiners.

The students were challenged to take command when defending their work. This was during the defense which took place at UTAMU Resource Center in Kiswa, Bugolobi on Tuesday 12th September 2017.

Both the internal and external examiners highlighted the different strengths and weaknesses of the candidates’ presentations.

The examiners on the panel challenged the students to ensure their work makes a contribution in their areas of research.

The candidates were also encouraged to always provide sufficient information to the reader in their proposals.

The examiners also gave insightful comments to the students to help them better their proposals.

The panelists at the defense included Mr. Omvia Denis, Dr. Loice Natukunda and Dr. Martha Kibukamusoke among others.

Some of the students who pass the examinations will be graduating during UTAMU’s third Graduation ceremony to be held on the 29th September 2017.
